    Description

Minerva 10-second sweep split rattrapante timer, best analog stopwatch ever made.  Made in Switzerland.
Watch is 100% working.  Has never had or needed repair.  It has never been opened up.  It has never been over-wound.
The initials "JSM" (my initials) are engraved on the back (as shown in the picture).
The ring that holds the lanyard does have corrosion on it, but the watch body does not have any at all.
Watch comes with original box, but no paperwork.
I bought this new in approximately 1974 and am the only owner.
At the time I bought this it was considered, hands down without competition, the best analog stopwatch ever made.  Soon after digital watches started becoming popular and as best I can determine, there was never a better analog stopwatch ever made.
This watch brand & model was used as back up timers to the electronic timing equipment in the 1972 USA Olympic Swimming Trials.
If you are looking at this auction, you probably already know what a special watch this is.  As I listed this, I saw one working for sale on Etsy for 5 and another somewhere else, not working for parts for 5.
This is truly a special stopwatch.  I have never seen another for sale on ebay.  You may never see or have a chance at another (unless you want to pay more for the one on Etsy).
